Neurontin (Gabapentin) has shown up 2-3 times on my daughters urine drug screens. I know she is not taking them. I will pay for a hair test if it can go back a few months and pick up neurontin to prove these urine tests are a mistake. ## The only lab I know that would have a hair drug test for Neurontin is national medical services in pa. Was the test your daughter took a urine dip test, like you use at home, or was it an actual lab test?? Which drug gave a false positive?? Any time a drug is positive it should be sent to a lab for GC/MS confirmation. Did your daughter sign a chain of custody form and initial a sticker that goes over the lid of a urine specimen container?? If not, the specimen could have been mix up with some other person specimen. ## I have to agree, this is not a medi. .

Does anyone else know? ## Generally they are not searching for those drugs, so the answer is pretty much no – they would rather find traces of other drugs such as opiates and amphetamines. They should not show a false positive either. what does suboxins show up as in drug screen ## In a standard drug test suboxone should not show up, unless they give you a urine test. I have to take a hair follicle drug test and I have a script for Hydrocodone. About 2 months ago I had a horrible infection in my mouth and I took 2 percocet 5/325 mg. over a week period for the pain. My script for this was expired. This is a pre employment screen and I want this job in the worst way. I'm so worried about the drug test. I took 60 mg of Ritalin in a course of three days and didn't have anything for three days after, but on the third day I had a drug screen from the methadone clinic. Will it show up? I want to know if tramadol shows as an opiet in a hair follicle test. The company I'm working for does a thirteen panel drug screen. I need to know what chemicals show in a hair drug test for heroin. I have never used it but came back positive for it. The drug screen has 6 – something. And that's it. No coding. No morphine. I was told that a positive heroin test should have those two things with it to be positive. ## 6-MAM is the short for 6-Monoacetylmorphine which is the main metabolite when testing for heroin. Popped up positive on a urine test for morphine and codeine. NEVER took either of them. Had 6 poppy seed muffins in two days. Will a hair test save my job? ## Back in 1998 the the US government changed the urine cut-off level, making it higher (2000ng/ml), so there would be less false positives for opiates due to poppy seeds. If they used the lower cut-off level of 300ng/ml shame on them for not know what they are doing. Was the urine test they did on you a rapid screening test or was it a lab test? The reason I ask this is if you showed positive on a rapid screening test they should have sent it to a lab for GC/MS confirmation. If they did do a confirmation test it could have been able to detect the difference between poppy seed and real opiates. If they still have some urine left over. .

In addition, if you have a prescription for it, then all you have to do is inform them of that, when you go in for testing. Are there any other comments or questions? .

I thought it was a non-narcotic pill but it gives me the same feeling as would Lortab or Codiene. ## tramadol would not show up in a hair drug test. Also it would not show up in a urine rapid screening test. Most rapid screening test are calibrated for morphine.
