Where To Buy Viagra In Puerto Vallarta Mexico

Best pharmacy in town to get medication?
So of all the times visiting PV I've never inquired on the best pharmacy to purchase medication. And is it permitted to bring them back on the flight home. I've seen a lot of walking across the border posts but none on the rules of flying. Are the permitted or restricted? I'm not talking natcotics or anything controlled. I'm curious about the cheaper prices and if anyone has brought home any of those blue vitamin V's. Thanks for your help in advance.
We like to use Farmacia Guadalajara because they are a big chain in Mexico like RiteAid or Walgreens, are reliable and have consistent chain – wide pricing. no Gringo or loose "size up the customer" pricing policies; we feel reasonably confident of the quality of the drugs.
We take old people generic drugs (blood pressure, statin, etc) which are no cost to us a home, so I have no idea about their cost in MX. Most tourists are interested in the availability of anti anxiety, retin-a, & expensive ED meds that are available without a script. Many stores around town post signs with cheap.prices. we've seen offers, especially of large quantities of blue V pills (like a hundred) for very cheap. We know a frequent traveler who imports those and sells them back in the US at a profit.
Formerly OTC drugs now requiring scripts in MX. certain pain meds, antibiotics, are more easily obtained under the radar at some of the smaller pharmacies, but don't expect low cost. they know what's going on.
I wouldn't recommend you start a business, but reasonable quantities for personal use should not be questioned; lots of travelers take advantage of low prices in MX, and buy their annual supply in Mexico.
Not sure what you're interested in, but the Farmacia next to Tacos Revolucion was doing a buy 5 get 1 free deal on Phentermine. You can get anything from Flonase to anabolic steroids at many of these places. Just make sure you know what you're getting into before buying. I've never had an issue bringing meds in or out. I just put everything in my pill box. I would think if you have a large quantity of boxes that might be a questionable situation.
If you're looking for a generic equivalent, I would go to Farmacia Medism on Constituion & Cardenas. I believe they have the best prices. Lot of locals shop here.
For us, the "best" has always been Farmacia Olas Altas ("Freddy's" – Federico Lopez Casco), Olas Altas 465. Very helpful, personal assistance.
All the pharmacies pretty much have the same stuff available. The ones closer to the tourist areas will have the highest prices- Frdddy's is one of the biggest rip offs on Olas Atlas. Instead,. head inland a few blocks and you can save about 20%
Not sure I would characterize Freddy's as a rip-off. Olas Altas is a main street in a prime area. rents are high which translates into higher prices. Just like a cup of coffee or a burger in this tourist area, lower prices can be found for most items slightly off the beaten path.
I (we) have purchased medications (prescription and counter, and pharmacy-related products) at several farmacias in Vallarta — within the Mega Supermercado (Hotel Zone), the one located at CMQ Hospital, Farmacia Guadalajara, and Farmacia Olas Altas (all located in the city’s south side).
I would definitely ’not' call Farmacia Olas Altas a "ripoff" – we have always received very knowledgeable and helpful service for medications and related products there over the years.
Drug prices are regulated in Mexico. Every drug container/box has printed price and are not supposed to be sold for more than that. Farmacia Olas Atlas and many other in the tourist areas sell drugs for a lot more than the regulated price. That's a rip off.
You get another vote for Farmacia Olas Altas. We've been going to Freddy as long as I can remember and thats well over 20 years. He's very helpful and speaks perfect english as well as his kids. I recommend them for most things. I get Ibuterol in PV for the year and found the Farmacia Guadalaja has the best prices for that but anything more specific I got to Freddy. Sun tan lotion there may be a bit high but meds have always been pretty good.
Check expiry dates. In some of the pharmacies talked about here, the expiry date is blacked out with permanent marker. ? Plus some don't have prices on their medications. You have to ask. They give you a price.
Once I needed 2 Tylenol (NYE headache lol) and there was a family in the pharmacy buying the same thing. They gave me 2 out of their bottle so I didn't have to buy a full one. Nice.
