Karaoke Retirement – After the January 6th Open Mic Night, Karaoke is retiring. The Pana Eagle’s Club would like to say thank you to Linda Miller, Orval Miller and Donna McGlauchlen of the Karaoke Support Group, and to Kris Pope and the many other members who helped make Karaoke Night such a huge success! Linda, Orval and Donna began Friday Night Karaoke and dinners over 6 years ago. Their tireless dedication made Karaoke night a great tradition at our club. The Karaoke Support Group has donated nearly $20,000 to our club over the years. In addition, they have donated to and helped support the Senior Citizens Dinner, Coats for Kids, Back to School Bash, the Adult Easter Egg Hunt, Bean Bags, Horseshoes, State Officers Weekends, Christmas Parties, New Year’s Eve Parties, 4th of July Parties, the Events Committee, and many many other events. The Karaoke Support Group would like to thank everyone who bought meals and 50/50 tickets, and those who have donated food, supplies and their time. They also give a big thank you to those who donated their winnings back to Karaoke to keep them going. At least for now, the music has stopped and the lights are off, but who knows what the future will bring! Again, thank you Karaoke for all of the wonderful years!!

Karaoke Open Mic Night! – Karaoke will be having its 2nd Open Mic Night on Friday, January 6th! Come out and sing a song, play an instrument, or just come out and check out the performers! Every year we give a gift to the oldest seniors at the dinner. This year’s gifts went to Blanche Sisk (93) and to Roger Waddington (92). Thank you to all of the Eagles members who helped this year and a special thank you to Earl Baker for the prayer, all of the volunteers from Heritage Health who give so generously of their time to serve meals every year, and of course to Santa Claus for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit our guests again this year!
