What Turning 28 Means To Me.
I have survived 28 years of continuous learning and overcoming all adversity; I am a better person because of it.В Despite 9/11, global warming, global cooling, pollution, H1N1, Auto-Tunes, the end of the world, and having Obama in office, I am still here in this great country of ours.В God bless the U.S.A!В This life has brought me many blessings and I would not change it for the world.
I made it to the big 28 and I feel 28 years wiser, focused, and determined to get more enjoyment and meaning out of life.В The twinkle in my eye has brightened and the energy dwelling within my heart and soul will never dim, only prosper beyond belief.В No obstacle or challenge will tie me down or stop me from reaching greatness within my soul.
I have too much heart and determination in me to go down without a fight.В I have a Spartan army on my side.В В At the end of the day, my shield and sword will remain raised high above my head towards the heavens.В Nothing can stop me because God is on my side and my family and friends have my back.В You all give me strength and courage way beyond my greatest expectations.В I am grateful to have you all you in my life, you are my heroes.В I salute you all proudly.
My intense passion for life and writing has got me thinking positively about all the great adventures that are in my future; the world is at my fingertips.В В I am more awake than I ever have been in years. There will be many more great epic moments with my family and friends with amazing things ahead of us; The 28 milestone is my new lucky number.
I know my 28th year on this planet will be the best because my life will take significant, positive new directions.В Amazing things are in the works, no stone will be left unturned, and no problems will be left unsolved.В Let’s all take a pledge to keep the party of life spinning while enjoying every moment we have on this planet.

Drama-Free is the Best Way to Live.
Drama is like a cancer that seems to spread faster with every breath when someone flaps his or her lips with verbal nonsense and trash talk.В В When you have negative comments to say about someone, do the world a favor and keep them to yourself because there are people out there like myself that only want to focus on positive thought and action.
I try to get along with everybody and have a good time. I always want to do right by people. I am not a snake waiting to strike. I am a Golden Retriever that just wants to play and enjoy the company of others. I am not looking for drama, in fact I am trying to avoid drama and enjoy life to it’s fullest. It takes more energy to fight with people than to do something positive like relax and have a beer with somebody and enjoy being in the moment.
No matter where you are some type of drama is brewing because many people are obsessed with causing drama between people.В Why is that and what does it solve?В Is life so boring that people must cause drama and fight with each other over ridiculous rumors or petty little things?В You must remember that their are people that like to spread inaccurate information like a widespread disease because they cannot live without causing drama and disrupting other peoples lives.
Some people need to learn to keep their mouths shut about issues that do not concern them, minding your own business is a great way to stay out of trouble and eliminate unnecessary drama.В Let others speak for themselves because that is what grown people do.В The main problem that comes into play is when people believe whatever someone says as true information no matter the source.
The best thing to do is make sure you hear what transpired from the horses mouth, not just randomly accept what any person said as fact.В Sometimes you have realize that not everybody you hear negative information from is telling the truth, they may be misinterpreting what was really said, or looking to stir up a hornets nest at your cost.
Jumping the gun so soon about everything does not solve anything and nothing good will come of it.В I think everybody has the right to have the benefit of the doubt before being judged.В Let God do the judging of others and work on enjoying life with other people.В В Life is too short to be caught up in drama and looking to hate on others.

How to Reduce Digital Piracy.
Ever since the early days of the popular file sharing app Napster, the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) has shut down the majority of file sharing companies, suing everybody involved with file sharing, including the users.
The idea behind Napster was not evil, it was a sign that record companies were behind the times and that technology was evolving, while record companies remained clueless and fearful of change.
What the record companies and the RIAA did not understand was that die hard music fans were using Napster to discover new music, filter out bad quality music, and rediscover music from their childhood’s, etc.
Napster users loved music; the idea was not to steal music, but to have the music they loved easily accessible on their computer, iPod, etc.В With the iTunes, by the click of a button you can purchase, download, and transfer music to an iPod.В Through the iTunes Music Store, the convenience of purchasing digital music is too tempting to pass up.
Apple understood the evolution of content delivery technology and the iTunes Music Store sold billions of songs, the perfect example that users will happily buy digital music.В The record companies finally got a wake up call, but the only problem was they wanted more control over the purchased digital music by using DRM (Digital Rights Management).
When music CD’s were popular they had no limitations except for the fact that CD’s are a physical medium and you had to rip the songs from the CD using software to get them onto your computer.В You purchased the CD and you were not limited by DRM to tell you which device you could or could not play music on.
Record companies missed the mark once again.В With the release of the iTunes Music Store, you had the opportunity to download purchased music tracks, but you had to deal with Apple’s own DRM called Fairplay, which only allowed you to play the music you purchased on Apple’s iPod, iPhone, and a few other digital music players.
Digitally purchased content become popular with movies, apps, and ebooks.В Everyone followed suit and adopted DRM for all purchased digital content with pirating continuing to flourish.
Renting movies from the iTunes Store is great because you can download the movie to watch on your computer, iPhone, iPad, etc.В It is convenient, but of course very limited by the DRM scheme HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).В In order to play the movie, the display has to support HDCP.
In my case, my 13″ Macbook Pro is connected to my 20″ 2005 Dell monitor and the computer is docked in closed lid mode, so my Dell monitor is my main screen.В I cannot play movie rentals because my monitor does not support HDCP.
We the people want easily accessible content. В We do not want to jump through hoops to get content onto our computers, iPod, or any other electronic device.В Apple did the right thing by listening to their customers by dropping DRM from the music they released in the iTunes Music Store.
We the people want instant access to content. В Most content you pay to download like TV shows and movies are not available as soon as they are released.В TV shows take a day after they are released before you can download them and in the case of HBO shows like Game of Thrones, you have to wait until they release them on DVD before they make them available for download.В Why make customers wait?
We the people want quality content. В The quality of music over this past decade has been mediocre at best and that not quite realistic, the majority of new releases being put out there are of terrible quality not worth spending a cent on.
Record companies need to increase the quality of music they allow artists to get away with and artists definitely need to go back to the basics by focus on creating quality music with a passion.В If you create quality content, people will buy it.
We the people want reasonably priced content. В $9.99 for a music album is a reasonable price for a quality music album.В Paying approximately $20 more a month to watch HBO shows like Game of Thrones and True Blood is a little outrageous to watch the shows as they aired.В Cable companies love it.
Limiting customers that purchase digital content will only encourage piracy.В Make it easy, hassle-free, and make digital content available sooner at a reasonable price.В You will never stop piracy, only make purchasing content more desirable to the customer.
