Elephant Family.

It is an experiment in color and freehand drawing loosely based on reference photos, with an accent on abstraction into broad areas of color. Elephants are fascinating, exotic, matriarchal, and endangered. The background animals are inspired by pre-historic cave drawings. The medieval style sun personifies the landscape.
