Lady Gaga ‘in legal battle after BREAST MILK ice-cream makers use name to sell product’
Lady Gaga is reportedly suing breast milk ice-cream makers The Licktators.
Breast milk ice-cream has had a mixed reaction since it started being sold and although Lady Gaga is obviously open minded, she’s reportedly not happy about the product being sold using the name ‘Gaga’.
The singer’s lawyers are allegedly now citing trademark infringements against The Licktators, who launched Royal Baby Gaga back in May to celebrate the royal baby’s birth.

It is made with human breast milk, which is donated then screened in hospital.
Despite Gaga’s alleged actions though, The Licktators have told Express.co.uk that the breast milk ice-cream “neither names nor features Lady Gaga, nor are her trademarks infringed”.
Singer is apparently not happy with The Licktators using her name.
The Licktators sold Royal Baby Gaga ice-cream to celebrate the royal baby’s birth.
They said in a statement: “We will not be bullied into removing content from social media relating to our product and subsequent media coverage.
“However, we will send complimentary tubs of our ice-cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to, as a gesture of peace and goodwill.”
They also said: “This is the second time Gaga has tried to take legal action against Matt O’Connor.
“O’Connor and The Licktators are opposing Gaga on the basis that the disputed word ‘Gaga’ is not a word she can claim copyright on, having a meaning of its own in the Oxford English dictionary as well as being a sound that babies commonly make – therefore having a direct relevance to breast milk ice-cream.”
Born This Way hitmaker has reportedly tried to sue them before.

They added: “Further, Lady Gaga admits taking the word “Gaga” from the Queen song, Radio Gaga.”
The British ice-cream makers previously got people talking when they made ice cream using “female viagra”.
The female-only dessert is made with Ecuadorian chocolate, plant-based pleasure enhancer Lady Prelox and thick, creamy British whipping cream.
According to The Licktators, the ice-cream was created to “give women’s sexual appetites a deliciously natural boost”.
Express.co.uk have contacted Gaga’s spokersperson for an official comment.
