Does anyone know where I could purchase Viagra or Cialis in Play del Carmen?
I have a prescription in US but didn't have time to fill order. Do I need a prescription in MX?
And, do you know about how much the meds are?
You can get pretty much whatever u want without a prescription
There are a bunch of pharmacys in playa. Google and see which is best located for.
No idea if the cost. But heard they weren't much cheaper than in the states

I am pretty sure that now requires a prescription Mexico is really cracking down on over the counter MED sales. many pharmacies have a DR there or near by who will usually facilitate a prescription for $10-$20.
Generic Viagra is dirt cheap in the US I assume it is available there as well.
There is no generic Viagra; not until December of 2017. Pfizer holds it patent in the interim. Pfizer is allowing Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, a division of Israeli-based Teva Industries Ltd.to begin sales of the "real generic" in December of 2017. You can, currently, acquire Sildenafil in the U.S. for about one-tenth the cost but sildenafil is not a generic. It is the active ingredient in viagra and is sold by compound pharmacies in the U.S. such as Riggs Drugs. In Mexico, and other tourist destinations south of the border, you are flipping a coin with what is peddled for viagra. Do yourself a favor, IMHO, and make your purchase with a credit card. That way when you find out you bought some kind of vitamin, or whatever, you can file a claim when you get home and get your money back. I suggest keeping the credit card slip together with the packaging that your "mock viagra" came in for submitting your claim.
You will find all these meds and others advertised heavily on Quinta Avenida and you won't need a prescription. Expect a sizeable markup from normal Mexican prices. In both tourist areas, and well away from tourist areas, I have yet to encounter this alleged crackdown that has been reported on here for years. Most drugs can simply be asked for, assuming it is not a controlled substance.
At Farmacias Similares (there are several locations) one can purchase generic Sildenafil without a Rx from anyone.
Package of 10 pills – 50 mg costs about 350 pesos or about $19 US.
I certainly wouldn't know anything about this, maybe I heard it somewhere from someone talking about a friend of their cousins.

I know you can get them at the Cancun airport (upon departure; not sure about arrival), but they're prob more $$$ than a local pharma.
Lot's of places and over the counter, not a problem. I found that on Fifth Avenue, the places that had pharmacies inside, besides the various tourist stuff and tequila, had the generic viagra (silendafil) and it cost about what it costs in the States, $14 for each10mg tablet ($55 for a package of four). If you go a few blocks off Fifth Avenue to an actual pharmacy, you can buy Furgel (or something like that) which was a Mexican branded sildenafil for 300 pesos for four 10mg pills. And they were having a promotion of three for the price of one. So a total of 12, 10mg tablets for $45. Not bad.
And before anybody asks, yes they work. Just fine. Yippee
