Justin & Amanda – St. Louis Wedding.

It was nearly impossible not to share all 800 images from Justin and Amanda’s snow covered St. Louis Wedding last month. While it was a little bit chilly (9 degrees with the windchill), the weather didn’t stop us! Amanda and Justin have impeccable style, and their wedding was exactly like any winter wedding should be – glamorous and elegant, with a touch of vintage charm. This group was so much fun to work with! We hit some of my favorite hot spots around town including Strange Donuts, 4 Hands, and The Cheshire Hotel.
We just loved working with you, Justin + Amanda!

Meghan + Will – St. Louis Wedding.
I was lucky enough to meet Meghan’s family last year when I was looking for a summer nanny for Liam. Meghan’s younger sister, Colleen, was headed off to college in the fall and was the perfect fit. We hired her right away, and Liam had a great summer with her (I think he also had a little bit of a crush on her, haha!) Colleen mentioned that her oldest sister was looking for a wedding photographer for her winter St. Louis Wedding, and the rest is history!
Meghan and Will’s January wedding was the perfect way to start off 2016. The colors, the venue – it was all so gorgeous. Not to mention, Meghan and Will are the sweetest people to work with. Meghan is one of 8 kids (7 girls, 1 boy) and their family couldn’t be more fun! They make me want to have 8 kids… I’m still working to try and convince Tim!
With St. Louis weddings, you NEVER know what kind of weather you will have, and this wedding was the perfect example of that! We had rain, snow, and even sleet! The temperatures dipped down into the teens in the afternoon, but Meghan and Will (and their friends and family) were such good sports. We took some beautiful photos at the Grand Basin overlooking the Art Museum – where Meghan and Will got engaged. Harvey the puppy even made an adorable appearance for photos! Such a perfect wedding day – THANK YOU to Meghan and Will for sharing your special day with me!

Hannah & Daniel – Part II – Chaumette Vineyard Engagement Session – Style Me Pretty.
Engagements, FILM.
Engagement sessions are the best, and Hannah and Daniel’s engagement session is no exception.
Hannah and Daniel have one of the best love stories, like the kind you see in an old Meg Ryan movie. Boy meets Girl (on a float trip – how cute is that), and they instantly fall in love.
But, Being in love isn’t always easy (in my 5+ years of marriage I can tell you that’s the truth!) so they took a little break. And everyone that knew them was heartbroken because we all knew how cute they were together and how they were totally meant to be.
But… as fate would have it, a few months later they got back together and they realized that they were so completely in love and just couldn’t live without one another. Then… Daniel proposed. And afterwards all of their family and friends surprised Hannah with the cutest engagement party – it was perfect.
It’s really all kind of magical when you think about it.
Seeing them together and so happy is pretty awesome. They are SOOO head over heels in love. They make each other laugh, and they truly bring out the best in one another.
I’m pretty lucky to be surrounded by people who are this happy and fun all the time.
Oh, and the fact that they are stylish and adorable and have really great ideas for engagement sessions is just an added bonus!
