Our own Redemption Rebecca gave birth a true black male cria we named Persius. He was born on October 10, 2012. Rebecca is one of those alpacas that you cannot help but notice when sheВ steps into the show ring. Rebecca displays great uniformity of lock and luster as well as being conformationally correct with a very pleasing handle. Rebecca will be rebred in the spring of 2013 to Wilkin’s Black Beau.

Little Minuet is a beautiful silver grey girl whose sire is the gorgeous Wilkin’s SILVER HEAT and her dam is CANTATA, an AOBA National Blue Ribbon winner. She has her dam’s sweet temperament. She is very dark silver grey, so in keeping with our desire to breed for the best black to grey; she was bred to AJAX, a fabulous true black Pennsylvania alpaca, for a fall 2012 cria.

SOLD! Flirtini has all the traits of her fantastic pedigree, luster, fineness, and density. She is an inquisitive, calm mother with loads of milk and a sweet disposition. We were very excited to add Obsidian, a true black boy, born to Flirtini on 3/21/12. We hope to have him in the show ring next year. Abbey Rose is a delightful, shy, beautiful medium silver grey. Her quiet presence is a pleasure to have with us on our farm. Her beautiful face will catch your heart. Our second beautiful cria, Buttercup, was born 4/20/12 to Abbey Rose. Buttercup’s sire is SBS McCartney. We will be adding more pictures of Buttercup as she gets older. Abbey is going to be bred back to our very own Saladin for a Spring 2013 cria.

SOLD! Our beautiful Sparkle is one little gem! Alhough she is one of our older girls, she continues to have beautiful crias and is a wonderful mother with loads of milk and a gentle, sweet temperament. In October, she gave birth to our beautiful little male, Dark Moon Rising, a true black and white cria with shiny fleece and a spunky little personality.

SOLD! Luna is a beautiful girl out of the FIRELORD, a multi-award winning and third generation grey male. Luna has received marks at shows for lock structure, uniformity, fineness, hand, luster, ease of spinning and softness of yarn, among others. Luna has a strong, independent personality and has been a wonderful mother to her cria, Betty Jo. Luna gave birth to a lovely fawn, male cria; born on October 23, 2012.

Taravao is one of a very few dark rose-grey females. Not only is she rare in color, but if you want a good PR animal for your farm, you must see Taravao. She has a wonderful temperament! She will come up and put her head on your shoulder or give you alpaca kisses if you are lucky! We have her male cria, a lovely silver grey junior herdsire Maxwell’s Silver Hammer here at Beach Run Farm. Taravao is due to have a cria Spring of 2013. Bred to our very own Saladin.

Jasmine will be our first Huacaya. She is an excellent/ steady, uncomplicated producer and has had multiple champions. She is the granddaughter of the famed MISTY MAIDEN and legendary BLACK MAGIC. She has produced several medium rose greys and comes to us with a stunning medium-silver grey cria at her side. She has been bred back to ALADDIN for a late spring cria.

A first generation suri, with both parents being from Peru stands proud for good reason. He is stunning! This bay black full Peruvian Suri has done well in the show ring and has sired many award-winning crias, most notably PSYLENT KNIGHT, a grey multi-award winning male who has gone on to produce many more award-winning alpacas. We look forward to adding him to our breeding program this spring.

Forrest has the typical Accoya-look head and a sought after muscular body frame. His genetic history is incredible. He is one of the last offspring of the late, great PPERUVIAN ANGEL, and is the grandson of the infamous Accoyo RAMILO.

Code Blue is an absolutely awesome dark silver grey junior herdsire with an amazing lineage….father is PERUVIAN SILVER HEAT and his grandfather is SBS PILGRAM! Not only is he a beautiful silver grey with silver grey, rose grey, and black in his background, but he has a calm, sweet temperament, a real joy to have on our farm. Code Blue will be available for fall, 2012 breedings.

Dark Moon Rising, who we call Reese, is the first cria born here on our farm. He is a lovely black and white male out of our very own SPARKLE and the magnificent true black KING KOHL. With his lineage full of blacks and greys, we are anxious to see how he will push forward our breeding program. He is a healthy, spunky, inquisitive, large-boned little guy. Diana is a shimmering brown, full Peruvian, half Accoyo girl born on July 6, 2010. We bought her at the auction at MAPACA, and in the lights on the stage, her fleece just shimmered! She is a beauty, and we are currently making a decision regarding her mating. In the show ring, she won Third place at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration in 2012 and Second Place at MAPACA Jubilee, also in 2012.

Take a look at this beautiful little modern dark silver gray suri born 10/11/2011! She has the appearance of fawn highlights, including at the tips of her ears and her tail. Her muzzle is light silver, and she sports rings of silver on her legs. Her fleece is super-soft and well locked, and her conformation is excellent. We are very excited to have purchased this beautiful little girl from Shepherds Creek’s Alpacas. We look forward to see what Rebecca will do on the show circuit. She took 2nd place at MAPACA, her first show and placed 4th out of 8 in her division in AOBA at only 7 months old!
